Gloria and Steven | Family Ranch | Lockhart TX

Steven and Gloria asked me out to Steven’s family ranch in Lockhart to take some pictures of what will be their new family. This was only the second time I have seen both of them. I mention that because I can tell how important family is to both of them. The ranch has been in Steven’s family for over 100 years. Steven was telling stories about when he was a young boy growing up there, building barns, swimming in stock ponds, and throwing hay. I got to meet Steven’s aunt and uncle as well as Gloria’s sister and their father, Lance. Steven’s grandfather lived on the property for most of his 100 years, many of those in the original house that is still there today. Being surrounded by their family and all of the history on the property was a super cool experience. The photo on the porch was taken at the original house that was built in 30′s. It really was a cool day. Thank you Steven and Gloria for inviting me into and sharing a piece of that history with me. I can’t wait for the wedding!
