Rita and Bob were some of those clients and friends that were comfortable to hang with immediately. Such wonderful people and when I see two like that come together for ever it just makes me smile. How much of a better place is this world now with two people like that coming together as one? I know that is kind of philosophical and what not, but seriously I was honored to be a part of something so great and am excited for these two and amazing future they are sure to have. Here are just a few of my favorites from their awesome day. Enjoy.

Thanks again guys for letting us share in this very cool time with you.

A few weeks ago I as asked to come and shoot Rita and Bob’s rehearsal dinner. These two are so very cool. Since they are not from Texas there is a small fascination with the stereo typical Texas stuff. What better place for them to have their rehearsal dinner than a BBQ place. Friends and family had a blast and it was a treat to be at their party. We shot their amazing wedding the next day those pics coming tomorrow. Here are just some quick shots from the HoDown!

I think this guy must have loved Rita and Bob equally

what a committed friend

Thanks guys for letting me be a part of some great times and good eats!

Kim and Justin had an amazing wedding. These two had plenty of obstacles in planning this gorgeous event, but truly inspiring when it came down to it. Many of you know about the venues in Houston closing and putting may couples in precarious circumstances as a result. Kim and Justin were effected by this as well and in ways that would make many of us want to throw in the towel. I was grateful to be a part of such an amazing group of people and see friends and family celebrate regardless of circumstances the love that these two share. Here are a few of my favorite images from the day. Thanks again for allowing me to be a part of your great day.

Well it has now officially been three years that God has shared his amazing gift of The Wee One with April and I. Although there are so many times that she makes us completely crazy, this little girl brings me more joy than anything or anyone that has ever been in my life before. She is truly an amazing gift from God and I am completely humbled to learn what I do every day about God by being here daddy. It is sometimes like the cobbler whose kids have no shoes around here, but when we actually carve out the time and I get to have these little sessions with my little girl, it is so worth it. Just thought I would share this beauty that walks around her castle, which I call our house, with you all. I hope she will bring a smile to your face just like she does mine every day.

So my boy Andre may get a little squirmy if I call this and engagement session, but for lack of better terms that is what this was. Andre is the mastermind behind the ever so smooth hair stylings of Craig Davis when that applied (more to come on that in a few). Andre is seriously the best Hair guy I have ever known and if you are in the Sugar Land-Richmond-Rosenberg-Katy area, he should be cutting your hair. Elannys is a guru color specialist, so between the two of them your follicle design, is taken care of! They are at the Visible Changes in First Colony Mall. Seriously, look them up when you need a wig snip, or some color in that due. Okay enough of the shameless plug for these guys, check out some of their smokin’ hot images, from our shoot

Thanks guys for a rockin’ shoot.

What a cool couple. So you know those kind of people that when you hang out with them for the first time, it doesn’t feel like the first time? That is definitely Courtney and Collin. Collin played baseball at Rice university and is the brother of our very good friend Molly. Molly was April’s maid of honor in our wedding. Now that you have the history on to Courtney. These two met at work and We are just lucky enough to get to be a part of their big day coming up next month. We had a great time on their e-shoot. Here are some of my favorites of the day.

Here are a couple of wide open headshots. I love shooting wide open.

As you can see, Courtney can turn on the charm like that. (insert snap of finger here)

So it was Collin’s turn and I was having a hard time getting him to loosen up at first

Courtney thought this was hillarious! Collin did a great job though!

Then we hit their favorite bar hang for before, during, and after Astros games.

After a change of clothes we crossed the street to get some of the ball park scene

Then it was back to the bar.

shooting in the neon lights with the D3 is fun! I used to not be able to do that. Thanks Nikon.

Guys I had a great time. Thanks so much and I look forward to hanging with you two on the Big Day!

At the end of August, my rockin cool church
the Bridge fellowship>, put on a kid’s production in Sugar Land Town Center. This show is something that we do every single week for our kids. It is called Kid Jam. April and I have been serving in this production by singing just about every week for the last three years. It is truly an unbelievable show and the kids at the Bridge absolutely love it. It was cool to get the show out in Town Center and give it some exposure. We had a great time that day and are looking forward to the next time we take the show “on the road”. Thanks to Amy for documenting the day since I was a little busy for all nine shows we put on that afternoon. If you have a free Sunday and have kids K-5th grade, or even if you don’t have kids, come check us out sometime in Kid Jam.

Okay. SO I am almost ALWAYS with the crew that go on the FREE SHOOTS from the studio. I am just horrible about blogging my work that is not client related. Today I thought that I would post something from our last two FREE SHOOTS as to try and catch up with the other shooters here in the Houston office. So here are some images first of our trip to WALLIS

Lindsay Claire ala reflection

The Team

Here are some from the recent shoot trip to Rosenburg. Definitely some cool things to see walking around that old town.

I thought this was very interesting. Either some girl named mary was involved in something illegal in the great state of Texas, or I guess it could have been that they left the word “jane” off of the window, or this was the local bootleg Mary Kay dealer in town.

And then we discovered the new couture wedding gown boutique. Watch for these things to become the newest trend. HA!

Chip and I shot an amazing wedding a few weeks ago and have been very excited to share it. Taryn and Drew are an amazing couple and we had a great time sharing in their wonderful day. Here are a few of my favorite images that tell the story of their fairytale.

We heard a small explosion a block over from the reception and thought little of it, until I realized that Ethan Hunt was giving Drew a high five as they took off on the rickshaw.

Just kidding about the explosion, but this dude looks like Ethan Hunt huh? Thanks again guys for letting us be a part of this wonderful occasion.

Scot and I had the privilege of shooting and awesome wedding in Colorado Springs, Colorado a few weeks ago. Chris is a buddy of min from college. A great musician and a Godly guy. It was a pleasure to get to know Joanna briefly. Seeing Chris with her, it was obvious that there was something special in their relationship. Here are a few of my favorite images from their day. Chris also played and sang a song that he wrote for her in the ceremony. It was unbelievable! Thanks guys for letting us be such a big part of your special day.
