We headed out to Nature’s Point to shoot Gretchen’s bridals. It is such a great location. Every time I’m out there I always joke about it being right next to my house (There is like a 10 million dollar home that you can see from the deck that I tell everybody is mine:) - although I would hate to pay the AC or the tax!

I recently shoot Kieth and Michelle’s wedding in Northern Virginia. This was a very special wedding for me. Michelle is the little sister of very good friends of ours - the Bruno’s, I’ll post on them in a while:) Anyway, it was fun going to a wedding and knowing so many people. The wedding was a blast. Thanks for including me in your wedding day guys.

One of my fav images - Sarah Bear on the left is my son Aaron’s oldest friend - once we moved to Austin, she got it in her head that she was going to go to UT - not a bad call:) - Her sis - Dori (right next to Sarah) is my little buddy - when she was born, aside from her parents, I was one of the only people that she would let hold her - that girl is not afraid of the camera.

I had to stop by the studio on Sat and the girls wanted to come with me so we took about 5 minutes to grab these fun shots for grandma:) The boys are next . . . Emma otherwise known as the M is the top pic. She was our gift from God. (actually they all were, but M . . .:) Erika is the 2nd one down, she is my amazing E. flying off tall buildings. M, by the way, loves shoes. E wants to be ruler of the world.

I recently photographed a really sweet wedding out in New Braunfels. Ron and Barbara were married out at the Barn. It was a great location and a blast to shoot. They did the festivities in reverse order - they had just gotten back from their honeymoon in Africa:)

Deb and Jeff are former wedding clients. They also spent quite a bit of time on our marketing material so I was so happy to have the opportunity to photograph the new family. Gabby was super funny - she knew where the camera was at all times. That is what kept cracking everybody up:)

The Best Crew came into the studio to do some very fun, family friendly images and we had a blast. I met Shannon a few years back when she attended a wedding show with a friend who was getting married. (Our very own Julie - who now shoots with the studio:). the cool thing about Shannon is she keeps a family blog that chronicles the life of her twins. As a history teacher I always thought that was the coolest thing in the world. I have tried to keep a blog of my crew’s happenings. It is a big challenge but one that I need to start doing. How amazing that her kids will have a record of their entire life.

As a former teacher, I love my teachers and am always super excited to shoot for them. Jennifer is another one of our super cool teachers and we had a blast at her wedding out at First Methodist and the UT Alumni Center. Bethany from
36th Street Weddings did an awesome job with the entire wedding day and you can never go wrong with
Matty Cakes - check out those cheescakes:).

I shot Richard and Sarah’s engagement recently and had a great time. Sarah was one of the first wedding professionals I met here in Austin so we are old friends and I was super excited when she asked if I would shoot the wedding. I will say she scared me to death when she hopped on the wall overlooking the city.
