Ok, so everything worked out on this wedding too!! I loved this one also. I know I say that about all my couples, but it’s because I enjoy all the time I get to spend with my couples and how they let me do my thing. It’s a huge honor every time that someone hires me to shoot their wedding. I know how big of an event this is to every couple and how important it is to accurately capture it and it amazes me every time I am hired. I can’t say it enough, I LOVE MY JOB!!!
This wedding was another testament to the above statement. Jill and Gene were such an awesome couple. She hiked down a hill in her heels while I was trying not to slip as I went down, just so she could get the shot below. Man, that’s good stuff there. Jill and Gene are both lawyers from Dallas and they met through work. They were so great to watch because as independent as Jill is, Gene complimented her so well by making sure she’s taken care of. I laughed when they were finished each others’ sentences and just in-tuned to what the other was wanting. I love seeing that kind of relationship.
Thank you again for having me there and I hope you enjoy the photos. That and thanks for putting up with my geekiness as we got the shot below….it was AWESOME!

This was a phenomenal event. It had everything you look for in a wedding. Beautiful bride, laid back groom, lots of fun dancing, and the best carrot cake ever (ok, so that last one is really what I look for in a wedding).
Miryam and Ben were a super sweet couple that you couldn’t help not saying “Awww.” They definitely make my job look easy cause they just cuddled up and enjoyed each other without even noticing me. Ben told me how they met in a parking lot in Arizona in 115 degree heat…or at least that’s what they tell everyone. They were brought together by work, him from Miami and her from Austin and they met in the not so middle Phoenix, Arizona. Great first impression for both led to making it work to where they are today. I love hearing the stories of brides and grooms. It’s the girl side of me that just wants to hear all the gushy details. I especially love hearing it from the groom because it’s even sappier….sorry Ben, I just said your story was sappy. But either way, the wedding was great. I felt so honored to be there with you guys. Thank you so much.

When I was getting ready for this wedding, I pictured this shot in my head. I love Barr Mansion because the walk up the isle is so unique and beautiful!! It came out even better than I thought because her dad waited for her around the corner….just perfect!

Man oh man, this was a fun wedding.
Missy and I originally met at a bridal fair, and if you’ve ever been to one they are a little overwhelming. Just a little. So I was super excited when we hit it off really well and I heard from her the following week. Her wedding sounded Texas to the core. Riverbend Smith Chapel, quaint, gorgeous chapel, paired with Bob Bullock History Museum the only thing to add in was a longhorn. But that would have been sinful at an Aggie wedding. I mean, what would Mom say?
I had such a fun time with this whole group. The guys were awesome and let me do my thing and didn’t complain too much. The ladies were sassy and I didn’t have to ask them to much cause they were already doing it. Then the bride and groom….laid back and so sweet. My favorite part of the whole day was when they really wanted to do a picture in the middle of the street with the capitol in the background. Yep, the whole wedding party got out there doing the Abbey Road look alike and didn’t flinch with all the cars around. All in all a very good night!! Enjoy the photos guys! And thank you so much for having me at the wedding….loved it!

So I got to photograph another wonderful wedding. I had been looking forward to this one because I couldn’t wait to see how a wedding planner plans out her own wedding. Heather and Ben are so great together. Ben hates photos, but he didn’t mind hamming it up for the camera. Then get him with Heather and he kind of goes goofy with love….sorry Ben, but you kind of did. Either way, I loved watching these two interact with each other. So Heather is a wedding planner (you can check out her website here) and she is wonderful. I got to work with her on a wedding in July and it was just such an easy event, so I knew her wedding would be the same. Well, it didn’t disappoint, it was super sweet, close, intimate, and everything you could hope a wedding would be. That and it was purple!! Yep, a girl after my own heart. So enjoy the photos. I loved the day and I am thankful I got to be there.

Their wedding was out at the wonderful Marquardt Ranch out in Boerne. It’s worth the drive promise!

Oh man, I was looking forward to this wedding for awhile. The engage photos were so much fun that I couldn’t want to see what they brought to the wedding. Let me tell you it did not disappoint.
Ok, so there was a great mixture of people at this wedding. I mean her dad’s family is from Venezuela and his family is from, well all over. But when the groom busted out their skateboards…..yep it was my type of wedding!! Enjoy the photos guys. It was such a blast at your wedding. You have such awesome friends and families and I loved being there with you on your special day.

Bride and groom on a skateboard…..yep I couldn’t ask for more. But wait we were only half way done.

So they had this awesome tradition called “La hora loca”. Yeah, they brought out the mardi gras costumes and then the party really started.

Wow is all I can say about this wedding. Jodie and Todd are such a great couple together. They wanted a super fun country wedding. I would say they achieved it! I think my favorite part of it was the old truck they brought in, it made for some really awesome photos of them.
Stacy at Petal Pushers combined with Cortney from BZ Events makes for awesome details. Enjoy the photos.

It was such a fun celebration. I loved it!!
It’s been a long time coming for these photos. I had so much fun at Erika and Hans’ wedding. It was so great to see some of my really great friends finally take a huge step in their relationship. I was so honored to be able to photograph another great photographers wedding. They had their wedding out at Star Hill Ranch….an awesome spot. Anytime I can shoot out there, I love it!! Imagine going back in time and exploring an old west town, minus the livestock and men with guns at high noon. Anyway, here’s their photos.

I got to see one of my other photographer friends….and a past couple. That and Alyssa got to come along with me. That made it so special for her and me.

They read a story about two dinosaurs meeting and falling in love. It was super sweet.

It was such a good time. I loved getting to hang out and be a part of the festivities. Thank you both!!

This was such a beautiful wedding. The ceremony was at Riverbend Smith chapel, which is a gorgeous chapel. The couple was so great and laid back. All the wedding party got a ride to the church in a stretch hummer limo. It was fun! After the ceremony we headed over to the Renaissance hotel in the Glass Oaks Ballroom. Another awesome spot. The details were awesome for this wedding and the crowd made for some really fun photos later in the night. I am so glad that I got to be there with you you guys. Thanks for having me.

This was a wedding that I was so looking forward to. I had met with Kristin and Jeremy and found out that I was also shooting her sisters wedding. Since her sister’s wedding was so much fun, I knew this wasn’t going to disappoint. And they delivered. The ceremony was at St. Martin’s Lutheran church downtown and then we headed over to the Texas Women’s Federation Mansion for the reception. I love shooting at the mansion….it’s so gorgeous and huge. They rented out the whole thing so it was really neat to explore around. Anyway, here are the photos for another awesome couple.

I got to hang out with this awesome couple last week. They were totally up for hanging out and just exploring to find some super cool places. It was a great time and I’m so excited that the weather cooperated. I mean it was beautiful! It was funny because Rob wasn’t as into the photos….which is the case with most guys, but by the end of it he was willing to strut his stuff. I can’t wait for the wedding. It’s going to be awesome.
